WINSMART

Project Description

WINSMART developed a new production technology for vacuum insulation glazing (VIG) using anodic bonding and laser welding in vaccum. A superinsulation frame was developed for the VIG. WINSMART significantly advanced developments within photochromic and electrochromic optical transmission control technologies. Widespread adoption of the new technology will have a large impact on the energy efficiency of buildings.
